Information

This is a screening test for Colorectal Cancer

  • Adults between the ages of 50 and 74 should have this test done every two years

  • anyone of average risk, meaning between the ages of 50 and 74, do not have a parent, child, sibling with history of colorectal cancer and does not have any signs of colon cancer

  • Contact the office and we will fax a req off to Life Labs and they will mail you a kit

  • Follow instructions which accompanied the kit

  • You will return in the mail in the envelope provided

  • You will be notified of any abnormal results and a referral to a surgeon for a screening Colonoscopy is set up by your doctor
